The gentle treatment with low-intensity infrared technology promotes orthodontic tooth movement and accelerates treatment. Like part of sunlight, Orthopulse® operates in the near-infrared spectrum (nIR). Intraoral application guides the light source exactly where the infrared light is intended to work. The device uses a matrix of tiny LEDs and a wavelength of 850 nanometres.
